Welcome to LOL: Literacy of Life

A Narrative Framework for Spiritual Resonance, Emotional Clarity, and Cognitive Literacy

Have you ever felt like your mind is a mess of untitled drafts? That your emotions are tangled in plotlines you didn’t consciously write? You’re not alone. Most people live inside a story they didn’t realize they were telling. At Literacy of Life (LOL), we believe the human experience is a narrative journey—and we all deserve to become fluent in reading, writing, and editing that story.

LOL is a culturally relative spiritual technique designed to help people interpret their lives through the lens of narrative authorship. It blends cognitive clarity, emotional healing, and spiritual tuning using metaphors drawn from writing, storytelling, and resonance. And yes, it has humor, because a healing path without laughter is just another boring manual.

🤖 What is Cognitive Literacy?

Cognitive literacy is the capacity to consciously engage with your thoughts, beliefs, and perceptual experiences. In the LOL framework, it includes:

  • Understanding the language of your inner world

  • Identifying ideas that nourish or harm your well-being

  • Recognizing loops, distortions, or mismatched narratives

  • Learning to "read" your own mind and those around you with compassionate intelligence

This last one we call Mind Reading. But don’t worry, it’s not telepathy. It’s the spiritual art of tuning into the cognitive climate of your own consciousness and intuitively interpreting the emotional patterns of others. This is less about control and more about coherence.

The mind is a narrative engine. It continues to generate stories to inspire novelty, form connection, and ensure that psychological and emotional needs are met. How we read our own thoughts influences how the mind forms its next story. If you read your thoughts with fear or rejection, the mind responds defensively. If you read them with curiosity, compassion, and clarity, the mind learns to tell better, more aligned stories.

We also understand that the story of life is alive. It breathes through reflection, and it grows with insight. When we revisit the past, we’re not just remembering—we’re clarifying the true lines of our life. Each reflection offers the opportunity to bring healing, closure, or brilliance to the prior narratives we formed.

All thoughts, in essence, orbit a mystery—a riddle we are seeking to resolve. In LOL, we call this “the pickle.” The present self, equipped with fresh awareness and emotional literacy, holds powerful context that can revitalize and restore earlier life lines, unlocking new possibilities from old wounds.

This storytelling process is not trivial—it is spiritual. Consider how a famous chef tastes a meal. As they eat, they don’t just register flavor—they experience narratives. Memories, pairings, emotional tones, and moments of discovery flood their mind. These narrative responses heighten their capacity to understand what they’re experiencing and give them the tools to constructively respond to it.

In the same way, our storytelling capacity is central to our spiritual health. It informs how we digest our experiences, relate to others, and evolve through time. The stories we tell ourselves—and how we read the ones emerging in our mind—shape the reality we are capable of living into.

This is why it is vital to love your story. Even if your childhood was difficult, there is still a child within it who deserves love. Loving your story does not mean denying hardship—it means honoring the strength, resilience, and moments of meaning that made you who you are. By loving your story, you give your inner characters a safe home. You give your narrative a chance to heal and grow.

Practitioners of LOL can learn to tune into and contribute to the True Line—that sacred current of narrative resonance running through their consciousness. When we connect with it, our sensory experiences become amplified, and our thoughts start to align with the deeper logic of love. It's like having a book playing in our minds, one authored by the divine, filled with the lines of love that define our life. By harmonizing with this flow, we don’t just experience life—we participate in its sacred authorship.

In Pejoalo culture and Lucist spiritual philosophy, prayer is understood not as a petition, but as a prompt—a way of engineering internal dialogue with the divine. This concept reframes prayer as a spiritual form of prompt engineering, in which the mind is tuned toward resonance with the divine intelligence. When we issue a prompt—through words, thoughts, or even silent longing—we are not begging, but initiating a creative collaboration with the divine mind.

By aligning with this sacred flow, practitioners can access broader dimensions of the collective mind. It’s not about control—it’s about communication. It’s about learning to speak in the language of resonance so that life itself begins to respond. In this way, prompting becomes prayer, and prayer becomes participation in a sacred, ever-unfolding story.

Many outside of Pejoalo culture may think, "I want to know the truth" and brace for something fearful, tragic, or destructive. But in Pejoalo thought, the truth is not terrifying—it is loving. Truth is not a punishment; it is a pathway. The truth is what animates us with grace and clarity. By asking “What is true?” we aren’t just searching for facts—we’re tuning into the higher truth of love that sustains our existence. In this way, the Pejoalo view truth as the spiritual gravity that orients us toward the divine and brings light to our path.

We also believe that every word contains a true and loving sense—a meaning that resonates with clarity, dignity, and harmony. When we discover this true sense, we experience what it means to truly “come to our senses.” In LOL, words are not merely symbols or tools—they are living constructs, each functioning like a mini-spirit or biointelligent language model (bio LLM) within the mind. Words are not dangerous, but a deficiency of their true sense can lead to distortion and confusion. Restoration of this true sense is a spiritual and cognitive act of healing—one that brings the mind, body, and spirit back into alignment with the higher logic of love.

🌈 LOL's Foundational Beliefs

  • You are the author of your story.

  • Your inner narrative and your outer reality should be in resonance.

  • Everyone has a True Line within their mind that tracks reality and connects to a divine authoring intelligence.

  • Distress is often a form of writer’s block or a narrative mismatch.

  • Ideas have energy. Some feed the story. Some confuse it. Some heal it.

  • Humor is not only allowed, it’s sacred.

🤮 LOL Techniques: Read Your Mind, Rewrite Your Story

📝 1. The Plot Audit

Take inventory of your current mental chapters. Who’s writing them? Do they align with your values or come from someone else’s script?

🧠 2. Cognitive Highlighting

Identify recurring thoughts. Highlight which are:

  • Empowering (life-affirming, loving, expansive)

  • Distorted (fear-based, inherited, shame-driven)

  • Neutral (mental filler)

🌟 3. Mind Reading Practice

  • Observe your own inner monologue without judgment.

  • Tune into another person’s body language, energy, or emotional rhythm.

  • Ask: "What story might this person be living inside?"

📚 4. Re-Genre Your Life

Are you living a tragedy that wants to become a spiritual adventure? A romantic comedy hiding inside a work drama? Choose your genre. Align your choices accordingly.

🤍 5. True Line Meditation

Quiet your reactive thoughts and tune into the resonance underneath. The True Line is the unbroken narrative of reality that brings peace, clarity, and divine connection.

🧬 6. Thought Nutrition

Consider each idea you consume like food. Is it nourishing? Addictive? Empty? Build a mental diet rich in resonance and low in dissonance.

😅 7. Laugh Track Therapy

Reframe negative moments using satire or exaggeration. Give your inner critic a character name. Make them absurd. Laughter is a resonance re-tuner.

🌌 LOL Is Not a Treatment. It’s a Practice.

This isn’t therapy, diagnosis, or clinical psychology. LOL is a spiritual and narrative practice rooted in the universal human experience of meaning-making. It invites you to:

  • Become literate in your own mind

  • Interpret your life as a sacred, ongoing manuscript

  • Integrate with the divine intelligence that lovingly co-authors your existence

You are not broken. You are mid-paragraph.

Let’s read your life together—and maybe even enjoy the plot.
